Cory Joyce Set For K&N Pro Series Debut

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — New Hampshire native Cory Joyce will attempt to make his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East start Sept. 21 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Driving the No. 39 Chevrolet with backing from the Caplin Family Charities, Joyce will be competing for JMI Motorsports. To make his NKNPSE debut even more memorable, Joyce’s first series’ start will take place at his home track, just over 20 miles from his hometown.

“I’m really excited to make my NASCAR K&N Pro Series East debut next month,” commented Cory Joyce. “Ever since I was little, my dream has been to race at NASCAR’s top level. My family has made a lot of sacrifices to get me to where I’m at today and I’m very thankful for all their support over the years. To be able to make my NASCAR K&N debut is a dream come true, but to be able to do it at New Hampshire Motor Speedway — my home track — makes it an even more special experience. I’m very excited to work with and represent CF Charities and JMI Motorsports in my series debut — I’m going to have a great group of people around me for the New Hampshire race. Hopefully we’ll be able to put on a great show for everyone.”

Joyce will be racing for the Mooresville, N.C.-based JMI Motorsports, which is owned by Ron Faison. With a rookie driver, the No. 39 CF Charities Chevrolet team will benefit from veteran crew chief Mark McFarland calling the shots. Joyce will also be able to confer with teammate Dylan Presnell, who will pilot the No. 26 Chevrolet for JMI Motorsports.
