LaJoie Is K&N East’s First Repeat Winner

HAMPTON, Va. — Corey LaJoie became the first repeat winner in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East with a victory in the Visit Hampton VA 175 at Langley Speedway on Saturday.

LaJoie took the lead from Brett Moffitt on Lap 165 and held on in a late-race restart to score his second career series win.

Moffitt held on for second. Chase Elliott, who earlier in the day set the record for youngest pole winner in series, finished third. Brandon Gdovic was fourth, followed by Sergio Pena.

The event was marked the halfway point of the season for the series, with seven of 14 races complete.
