NASCAR Penalizes K&N West Driver Pursley

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR K&N Pro Series West driver Greg Pursley has been penalized by NASCAR following his involvement in an incident at Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway on May 4.

Pursley, driver of the No. 26 car was found to have violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing. Involved in an altercation with another competitor in the inspection area after the race had concluded.) of the 2013 rule book.

As a result of this violation, Pursley has been fined $500, suspended from NASCAR until the fine is paid and placed on NASCAR probation until June 19.
