Nate Monteith Suspended By NASCAR
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR has suspended Whelen All-American Series competitor Nate Monteith until June 12 following an incident at Richmond (Va.) Int’l Raceway after the conclusion of the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown last Thursday.
Following the conclusion of the Short Track Showdown, Monteith struck another car with his vehicle, resulting in the suspension. Monteith was also fined $500.
Monteith was already on NASCAR probation after an incident during the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona Int’l Speedway in February.
