MOORESVILLE, N.C. – ARCA Racing Series competitor Alex Bowman will make his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut Sept. 15 at Chicagoland Speedway in a Turner Motorsports Chevrolet.

Bowman will drive a Chevrolet sponsored by Allegiant Airlines at Chicagoland Speedway. Immediately after the race, Bowman will make the 280 mile trek to Indiana’s Salem Speedway for an ARCA event on the same day.

“Turner Motorsports and Allegiant Airlines are helping me live my dream,” said Bowman. “But until I can find more brands like Allegiant Airlines to sponsor me in Nationwide, it makes sense for me to keep participating in ARCA, if possible.”

Bowman is currently fourth in the ARCA Racing Series standings. He has won three races in ARCA competition this year and five total in 19 ARCA events.
