Koch Lands Daytona Nationwide Sponsor
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – TriStar Motorsports and Blake Koch have formed a partnership with producers Roma Downey (Touched by an Angel, The Bible) and Mark Burnett (The Voice, Shark Tank, Survivor, Celebrity Apprentice, The Bible) and their epic movie, Son of God, which debuts in theaters nationwide on Feb. 28.
The film will serve as the primary sponsor on the No. 44 TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry with Koch, an established keynote speaker in the faith community, behind the wheel.
“Roma and I had such a great time at NASCAR last year that we wanted to find a way to engage the fans and community in an even bigger way.” said Burnett. “When we met Blake we thought it would be a great opportunity to have the Son of God as part of this race and couldn’t be happier that he is at the helm.”
Koch will be promoting advanced ticket sales for the film’s opening weekend and giving away an all-expense paid trip to one lucky fan and a guest to join him at Daytona Int’l Speedway for the Daytona 500 weekend.
Advance tickets to the movie can be purchased through www.RacingforSonofGod.com; entries for the official giveaway can also be submitted on the site. Additionally, Koch will be touring churches and faith-based organizations throughout the southeast area promoting the film and signing autographs. Dates and times will be released at a later date.
“Having the Son of God movie featured on my car for Daytona is so exciting,” said Koch. “Daytona is sentimental to me considering I was born there, and I am honored to be promoting Son of God to the NASCAR community and fans. Mark and Roma’s vision for this movie is incredible, and for me personally, the movie was life changing.
