INDIANAPOLIS — Venom Energy Drink will continue as primary sponsor of the No. 26 Indy car driven by Marco Andretti through a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Andretti Autosport.
Venom Energy will activate the partnership with in-store merchandising, consumer sweepstakes and retail appearances.
“We are excited to be back on board with Marco Andretti and Andretti Autosport. We look forward to bringing the Venom Energy drink and Marco Andretti partnership to life for our fans on the track as well as at retail,” said Russ Schleiden, brand manager for Venom Energy Drink.
Marco Andretti, the son of team owner Michael Andretti, drove a Venom Energy sponsored car in 10 races last year. This agreement will make Venom Energy the long-term primary sponsor of Marco Andretti in the IZOD IndyCar Series.
“I’m very excited to have Venom Energy back with me,” said the younger Andretti. “I know the Venom Energy crew feels just like me, and can’t wait to get back to the track and get going for 2010. We’re ready to go to the next level, and I’m going to take Venom Energy with me.”
