Renezeder Paces Off-Road Qualifying

SPARKS, Nev. – Carl Renezeder claimed the top spot in Pro 2 Unlimited qualifying for the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series event at Wild West Motorsports Park Friday afternoon.

Championship leader Rob MacCachren opened the qualifying session with the fastest lap, but was bested two laps later by Renezeder.

Marty Hart then briefly stole that top spot away with in his No. 15 ReadyLift Off Road Suspension/GearUp2Go.com Ford, before Renezeder returned fire with the pole-winning time of 55.039.

Renezeder ended the session on top, a good start for the weekend as he continues to hunt short course career victories 99 and 100.

Second went to Hart, while MacCachren improved to a 55.360 to hold third.

Kyle LeDuc (Pro 4 Unlimited), Brian Deegan (Pro Lite Unlimited), Dave Mason (Pro Buggy Unlimited), Jordan Poole (Limited Buggy) and Sheldon Creed (Super Lite) were the top qualifiers in the other divisions.
