PENSACOLA, Fla. – This is just unbelievable.

Back to back Snowball Derby wins is simply amazing. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports) family. To have the Tom Dawson trophy in my hands again a year later is something I never thought was possible and I’m just so grateful.

This is not exactly how I would have liked to win this race, however a win is a win, so I’ll take it. The KBM guys never stopped working on the No. 51 Phoenix Construction Camry. We started out the race really tight in the center with little drive off. I knew Chase (Elliott) was going to be a tough one to catch but we never stopped making our car better.

You never know how tech will play out with Ricky Brooks. Each and every team comes down here knowing that he will be checking everything, hence the title “Room of Doom.” I’m really proud of my guys and the effort they put in this weekend. We put ourselves in the best situation at the end. Chase has been a great competitor through the years and I wish we could have battled it out on the track. Coming in second to him is always hard because of how competitive we both are towards each other. I hope we have many more together in the future.

This year wouldn’t have been possible without a lot of support from different people – my family, Kyle and Samantha Busch, Phoenix Construction, Wake Up Narcolepsy, Toyota Racing and many many others all pitched in and were along for the ride. I’m happy I was able to share this season with them and all the fans supporting me. I hope to have something announced for 2014 very soon.

Thanks for checking into National Speed Sport News, hopefully we will be able to do it again next year. Till then, thank you all again and have a Happy Holiday!
