I watched 12 of the 24 hours on Speed. The contrived restart procedures "helped" keep it interesting till the end. I would have watched it ether way. The merger is what is going to bring back "some" fans. Road racing in the US is never going to have the same appeal as circle track racing. We just need someone running the show that won't screw it up. I would rather have that be someone other than NASCAR, but that's all we have.
