Here are some of the races and tracks I would like to travel back in time to see: (A) 50's and early 60's Champ Dirt Cars at the Langhorne Dirt Oval (circle); (B) last sprint car race at Ascot Park in Gardena; (C) A champ car race at one of the 1920's big board tracks; (D) the road race (Lime Rock Park??) that Rodger Ward won in Ken Brenn's midget; Bonneville salt flats when Mickey Thompson drove the four engine (Pontiacs) streamliner to a speed over 400 mph. Foyt in the dirt car (he won with the day before in Springfield, Il) won the pole and finished second in a field of mostly top notch rear engine cars--but alas I was lucky enough to have been there.
