Lloyd Ends Season On High Note

OCALA, Fla. — It was the final night of racing at Ocala Speedway Friday night and four divisions took to the track. Headlining the night were the late models, and Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. took the point nine laps from the finish and held on to take the win. Early leader Mark Whitener settled for runner-up honors and David Clegg ended up third.

The thunderstocks ran a special feature for non-winners in 2010 that saw Ronnie Harrell outlast an overheating engine and a hard-charging Jesse Corbitt for the win. Corbitt followed in second while Eddie Lake recovered from a lap-two spin to take third.

Steve Cox, Jr. took the victory in the gladiators division with Kyle Morse and Art Souther completing the podium. In hobby stocks, Jody Wells survived a fierce battle to win with Steve Mooers and Brian Jerrels in tow.
