BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. — For the second year in a row and the fifth time in his outstanding career Jeff Strunk was able to drive to victory in the 43rd annual BPG Racing Freedom 76 Modified Classic at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night.

The win was worth more than $25,000 to the nine-time NASCAR track champion.

Both Meme DeSantis and Duane Howard were able to keep it close and keep it interesting in the closing laps but Strunk was able to hold off the challengers and get credit for leading every lap but the first one in the 76-lap event.

At the finish DeSantis was just a couple car lengths behind the winner and Howard was just a couple lengths behind DeSantis as the checkered flag fell. Third spot went to Ryan Godown followed by Ryan Watt who had challenged Strunk for several laps in the early stages of the race.

The Schaffer Minuteman 20, that sent the top four to the main event, had Jon Kellner Sr. grabbing the win. The Mertz Flying Dutchman Cash Dash went to Craig VonDohren earning him $1,000 while his crew earned $500 for winning the tire changing contest.
