Cochran Wins Thrilling 5 Car Battle
SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Twenty-year-old Matt Cochran came away with the victory in Saturday night’s 30-lap Late Model Fall Classic at Selinsgrove Speedway following a thrilling five-car battle for the lead in the final laps of the last race of the season. Cochran’s second win of the year and the fourth of his career at the track was worth $5,000 driving the Krenn Brokerage No. 16.
Jeff Rine came home second on the half-mile dirt track with Jason Covert, Dan Stone and Dylan Yoder rounding out the top five.
Bob Bussey scored his sixth win of the year in the 12-lap roadrunner/street stock challenge race.
