SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. — New York modified veteran Billy Decker won Friday night’s King of the Can modified feature at Penn Can Speedway.

Decker earned $5,214 for beating Matt Sheppard to the checkered flag with Joey Grammes, Brian Weaver and Bobby Varin rounding out the top five in the 50-lap event.

“Man, what a race!” said a smiling Decker, whose victory was a popular one with the Penn Can crowd. “I was trying to run my car where it felt the most comfortable on the track, but I knew Matt (Sheppard) was all over me.”

Ryan Olsommer won the crate sportsman feature and Jonathan Carpenter topped the street stock race.
