Dietrich Hits Dog Hollow Sweet Spot

STRONGSTOWN, Pa. – Billy Dietrich made the three-hour two to Dog Hollow Speedway a memorable one as he drove into victory lane following the 410 sprint-car feature Sunday.

Dietrich drew the outside front row starting spot along side of Daryl Stimeling for the feature. Dietrich took off at the drop of the green with Stimeling left to battle Kevin Schaffer.

Once Schaffer took over the runner-up spot he tried to run down Dietrich. A couple of cautions, and a red flag for a flipping Steve Kenawell, closed the gap.

Schaffer would hang with Dietrich for a few laps before the Biglerville driver would pull away. Dietrich, who won his first 410 feature earlier this year at Lincoln Speedway, drove off and scored a $3,000 paycheck for his efforts.

Schaffer held off Stimeling for the second spot with Dan Kuriger and Johnny Mackinson, Jr. completing the top five.

Sammy Stile pocketed $4,000 for winning the companion ULMS late-model main event, while Mike Laughard netted $1,000 for winning the FASTRAK late-model feature.
