Henney Tops Fall Classic

NEWBERRYTOWN, Pa. — Bill Henney earned $2,500 for taking the checkered flag in the street stock feature Saturday night at Susquehanna Speedway Park.

The street stocks were one of four classes featured during the ninth annual Miller’s Racing Parts Fall Classic.

Henney inherited the lead when Mike Walls dropped out after 17 laps and sailed through the remainder of the 50-lap race on the four-tenths-mile dirt track.

Scott Thunberg finished second followed by Mike Franklin, Marshall McMullen and Jim Palm Jr.

Patrick McClane took the lead from the start and never looked back to win the Xtreme Stock Car 40 lapper.

Eric Hollenbach won the 30-lap Four Cylinder Stock Car feature. On Friday night, Jim Crocker won the exciting Classic Cars 20 lap feature event.
