Thornton Sticks It At Penn Can

SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. — Billy Thornton took the high line on a mid-race restart in the modified feature to take the lead from Kevin Hartnett and powered his way to his first win of the season at Penn Can Speedway.

Last week’s modified winner, Grant Hilfiger, continued his winning ways capturing the 602 sportsman feature.

Jon Carpenter and Ryan Stone came home winners in the twin fifteen lap features for the street stocks.

Steve Simpson was the factory stock winner while Kenny Underwood made it two in a row in the four cylinders.
