Two New Winners In Clearfield

The Street Stock feature was a survival of the fittest, as Tom Slack beat Johnny Linderpitz off the line on the start with Slack leading for two laps before Curtis Teats took the lead and set the pace. As he led, he sat through a number of cautions before the final eight laps went non-stop. Teats was able to pick up his third win of the season with Lindenpitz a close second. Jamie Price held on for third place with Tim Fannin fourth and Dustin Challingsworth in fifth. Teats and Dan Smeal split heat wins.

The Pure Stock feature saw Ryan Claycomb and Cody Hummel on the front row with Claycomb leading the first lap with Hummel taking the lead one lap later. Hummel and Hunter McCracken ran side-by-side for two laps before McCracken took the lead. Once he was in from Jon Lee moved into second and set his sights on the leader, but Lee was not able to make it two wins in a row, as McCracken was able to hold off his challenges as he picked up his third win in four weeks. Lee, Hummel, Ben Krause and Justin Queen completed the top five. Heat wins were split between Lee and Queen.

The always entertaining Four Cylinders hit the track with Darrin Thompson taking the lead from Chris Yoder at the start, after Jesse Laughard and Mike Phillipson were involved in crashes on the start. After Thompson took the lead it was all him, as he was able to hold off a challenge from Jesse Short and Robert Lydic, but Short and Lydic tangled, with neither driver giving an inch on the other, thus both were black flagged for rough driving.

On the lap 11 restart Thompson held off the challenges of Aaron Luzier, who tried every trick in the book to get the lead, but Thompson held on for the win. Luzier, Eric Luzier, Bryan Warren and Phillipson completed the top five. Heat wins went to Thompson and Eric Luzier.
