Eldora Major Event Tickets On Sale Dec. 1
ROSSBURG, Ohio – As is tradition at Eldora Speedway, the first Saturday of December marks the annual public sale date of event tickets and campsites for the legendary facility’s marquee events.
Beginning at 10 a.m., race fans will be able to secure their seats and campsites for the Dirt Late Model Dream Week (June 6-8), Kings Royal Weekend (July 12-13) and World 100 Week (September 5-7).
To purchase tickets for these events during Eldora’s 60th consecutive season of racing by going online to www.EldoraSpeedway.com or by calling the speedway office (937) 338-3815.
“Going online to our website to make these purchases is easy, thanks to the TicketForce prepared design, and it is a race fan’s best bet due to the volume of orders it can process simultaneously,” stated Eldora Ticket Manager Tess Thwaits. “We will have a full staff ready to answer the phones tomorrow from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. and the box office will be open for walk-in orders.”
An unprecedented sense of anticipation accompanies tomorrow’s public sale date. Eldora’s theme of “Aggressive Expansion” for its 60th year will see both the Dirt Late Model Dream and World 100 expand to multiple-day racing programs for the first-time in their history. Thursday and Friday nights of those race weeks will now both feature complete qualifying, Heat Race, B-Feature and Twin 25 Feature race programs before the traditional Saturday night events.
The move has proven popular with competitors and fans alike. Drivers are excited about the opportunity to have more laps on the treacherous high-banks to dial-in for Saturday’s “Crown Jewels” and the posted awards approaching $600,000 while race fans have been clamoring to renew their ticket and campsite orders.
Not to be outdone by their full-fendered brethren, the stars of the World of Outlaws and winged Sprint Car fans have the 30th Annual Kings Royal Weekend on pace for another record weekend. Following Sammy Swindell’s popular triumph that featured some of the best racing witnessed all season – including 14 exchanges of the lead in the 40-lap A-Feature – ticket renewals are at an all-time high for the July classic and the kickoff to the Outlaws’ “Month of Money.”
Tickets and campsites for the recently announced NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Mudsummer Classic will go on public sale Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. However, advance ticket holders to the 2012 Prelude to the Dream are being offered the exclusive opportunity to purchase their same seats for the historic Wednesday, July 24 running of NASCAR’s first national series event on dirt since 1970.
They may begin taking advantage of this opportunity beginning tomorrow at 10 a.m. through the deadline of January 2, 2013.
The complete 2013 Eldora Speedway calendar, including more new racing and family shows plus the expansion of a longtime traditional event, will be announced in the coming weeks.
