Knoxville Raceway Announces 2014 Schedule

KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Knoxville Raceway officials have announced the 2014 racing schedule, featuring more than 30 races from April through September at the Sprint Car Capital of the World.

The top drivers in dirt track racing will compete in the 2014 season for prestigious titles throughout the season in events like the 54th Annual FVP Knoxville Nationals, the Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cup Series (KCCS), the 11th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Store and the 24th Annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals.

They will be preceded by the 24th running of the Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals, scheduled for July 31-Aug. 2. The Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals will be held Sept. 25-27.

The Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cup Series will feature 18 nights of racing in 2014, including the annual Capitani Classic that is scheduled for Aug. 3. The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Mediacom Shootout is slated for June 14.

More than 250,000 racing fans from 47 states, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Great Britain, Sweden and Guam, amassed at Knoxville Raceway during the 2013 season to witness the most exhilarating and intense dirt track racing in the world.
