Long Brothers Put On A Show At 141
Brandon Long jumped up front of the IMCA Sportmod Feature event and looked like the Long brother to beat early on. A series of cautions would keep the field right on the back bumper of Long. Brother Josh Long took his time through the cautions and wound up looking at the rear bumper of his brother.
Josh shot inside of his brother on lap nine and would lead through a couple more cautions. A green, white, checker finish was to follow. Snellenberger fought off the advances of Jerry Leary midway through the feature and cruised to the win. Leary fended of John Heinz to finish second. Todd Augustian finished fourth with Scott Stewart fifth.
Fresh off his Badger Mod Tour victory on Thursday; Mitch McGrath decided to take a Saturday night stroll in the IMCA Modifieds. McGrath started on the outside poll by virtue of his low point average.
