Long Brothers Put On A Show At 141

Brandon Long jumped up front of the IMCA Sportmod Feature event and looked like the Long brother to beat early on. A series of cautions would keep the field right on the back bumper of Long. Brother Josh Long took his time through the cautions and wound up looking at the rear bumper of his brother.

Josh shot inside of his brother on lap nine and would lead through a couple more cautions. A green, white, checker finish was to follow. Josh kept his little brother at bay and won his second feature in a row. Brandon settled for second with Scott Boyea, Brian Reif and Hunter Parsons completing the top five.

Devin Snellenberger decided he wanted to lead at the start of the IMCA Stockcar feature. Twice he went from sixth to the lead on the opening lap with the first time being taken away by a caution. Mike Brehmer would sneak by Snellenberger to lead lap two but a solo spin put Snellenberger back up front. Snellenberger would retake the lead after the Brehmer spin and the race would go caution free for the final seventeen laps.

Snellenberger fought off the advances of Jerry Leary midway through the feature and cruised to the win. Leary fended of John Heinz to finish second. Todd Augustian finished fourth with Scott Stewart fifth.

Fresh off his Badger Mod Tour victory on Thursday; Mitch McGrath decided to take a Saturday night stroll in the IMCA Modifieds. McGrath started on the outside poll by virtue of his low point average. He grabbed the lead and went uncontested throughout the event. McGrath worked his way through lapped traffic in the waning laps and picked up his first victory of 2013 at the speedway.

Jeremy Jacobs finished second after a battle early on. Eric Mahlik came home in a solid third. Tim Czarneski and R.M. VanPay rounded out the top five. The race went green to checker flag without a caution.

Brian Johnson picked up the victory in the 4 Cylinder division. Jeff Brehmer won the race long battle with point leader Mike Montie for second.
