Smith Hits Macon Dirt Running

MACON, Ill. – Danny Smith collected the winner’s share of the purse Saturday night at Macon Speedway in the Midwest Open Wheel Ass’n sprint-car feature.
Smith started on the second row in the non-stop feature and drove around Robbie Standridge for the lead early on. He held off all challenges to pick up the victory.
Standridge was second with Kody Kinser finishing third.
Other winners at Macon Speedway Saturday included Jason Hazlet (street stocks), Randy Huffman (modifieds), Steve Sheppard, Jr. (super late models), Billy Justice (pro hornets) and Dalton Brooks (amateur hornets).
