Boucher Brothers Rule The Day
WENTWORTH, N.H. – Brothers Doug and Matt Boucher dominated the evening at Legion Speedway Sunday, finishing first and second in both their heat and 20-lap mini-stock feature.
Matt won the heat, but it was his brother Doug that captured the mini-stock main event.
“I wasn’t even sure I was going to be racing today, we didn’t get the car finished until this afternoon,” Doug Boucher said in victory lane.
Brian Gray picked up his second 600cc Mini Sprint win of the year, after leaders Luke Greenwood and Rich Crooker tangled while exchanging slide jobs.
“I wouldn’t say I had the dominant car today, but Luke and Rich decided not to play nice, so here we are,” Gray said.
In only his third appearance of the season, Jason Giguere won the Street Stock feature, getting by points leader and two time winner Mark Brown midway through the 20 lap affair.
Brown was second and Robbie LaCroix resurrected an old car on the spur of the moment to finish third.
