Kenny Hammond Wins At Five Mile Point

KIRKWOOD, N.Y. — The Pioneer Pole Buildings/VP Racing Fuels Short Track Supernationals kicked off Friday night at Five Mile Point Speedway.

Kenny Hammond banked a $1,500 check for winning the sportsman feature on the quarter-mile dirt track, beating Tom Collins, Jared Umbenhauer, Brian White and Mike Ricci to the checkered flag.

Gary Roberts claimed victory in the IMCA modified division, outrunning Jarred Spaulding, Tanner Harpell, Gary Smith and Matt Roberts.

The 600 modified feature went to Will Eastman with Tim Frantz second.
