Dodge City Reveals Schedule
DODGE CITY, Kan. – Dodge City Raceway Park has released its slate of events for the 2013 campaign atop the three-eighths-mile clay oval in southwest Kansas.
The 2013 schedule of events will encompass 18 nights of competition over 14 different weekends, kicking off on March 30 and then coming to a conclusion on Sept. 28.
Dodge City Raceway Park will lift the lid on the 2013 season with a late afternoon event featuring the track’s championship divisions of IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Thunder Cars and Hornets on Saturday, March 30.
Two weeks later offers up a unique event as the TORC Off-Road Truck Series invades Dodge City Raceway Park for the first time on April 12-13. It marks the first for four weekend doubles on the 2013 schedule, with other doubles including a Modified special on May 3-4 that offers up $1,200 to win on both nights, the annual World of Outlaws Sprint Car Boothill Showdown on July 5-6 and the USAC Southwest Sprint Cars on Aug. 23-24.
The season wraps up with Championship Night on Sept. 28 with the track’s five championship classes along with the URSS 305 Sprint Car Series in its fourth stop of the season at DCRP after events on May 11, June 29 and July 26.
