Murray Still The Man At Dawson County

LEXINGTON, Neb. – David Murray, Jr. did was he does best Sunday evening, drive into victory lane after winning the IMCA modified event at Dawson County Raceway.

Jay Steffens grabbed the lead at the start of the feature, with Murray following in his tire tracks during the opening laps.

Steffen held the lead for the first six laps, but on lap seven Murray drove by and held the lead for the remainder of the 20-lap feature.

Steffens ended up second, with Dave Pedersen, Tyler Iverson and Chuck Stryker completing the top five.

Other winners at Dawson County Sunday included Kyle Bond (hobby stocks), Jesse Sobbing (Northern SportMod) and David Dembowski (sport compact).
