Nasse Tops Benjamin At New Smyrna
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Stephen Nasse fought off a late-race challenge from Kyle Benjamin to win Sunday’s late model feature at New Smyrna Speedway during the 47th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.
Benjamin and Nasse ran side-by-side during the final laps, with Nasse gaining the advantage coming out of turn two on the final lap. Benjamin tried one last run through turns three and four, but came up short and settled for second. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Joey Coulter finished third.
Kyle Larson claimed the opener for the USAC Mopar National Midget Series, holding off Darren Hagen at the finish. (Full Story Here).
