Rain Stops Myrtle Beach 400

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Rain has forced the postponement of Sunday’s 20th annual Myrtle Beach 400 for late-model stock cars at Myrtle Beach Speedway.

It began raining at the track early Sunday morning and with no end in sight, track officials made the decision to postpone the event. It has been rescheduled for March 23, 2013 at the .538-mile asphalt oval.

Sam Yarbrough had earned the pole for the 250-lap main event. Matt Cox, Coleman Pressley, Tommy Lemmons Jr. and Justin Milliken completed the top five in the starting lineup.
