Reutimann’s Night At East Bay

GIBSONTON, Fla. — NASCAR driver David Reutimann won his own race Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park.

Reutimann took the lead on lap 47 of the third-mile dirt track and led the remainder of the David Reutimann Foundation 50 for modifieds.

Reutimann too the lead when David Pollen Jr. slipped out of the groove and beat Austin Sandes to the checkered flag.

Matt Miller, Bruce Harvey and Bobby Dixon filled the top five.

Phillip Cobb charged to his fifth late model victory of the season, but came up short in the championship chase, finishing 32 points behind Roger Crouse, who finished fourth in the season finale.

Jamie Franklin won the Florida Old Time Mods feature and Jeff Weaver topped the V-8 warrior field. Richard Humfield earned his first four-cylinder bomber victory after three years of competing in the division.
