A 10-driver All-Star team has been named in honor of The Atlantic Championship's first 35 years.

Sprint Cup rookie Patrick Carpentier was chosen to the 35-year Atlantics All-Star team.

TROIS-RIVIERES, Quebec — In honor of the 35th-anniversary season of the Cooper Tires presents The Atlantic Championship powered by Mazda, the series released its 35th Anniversary Atlantic All-Star Team.
The All-Star team was announced during this past weekend’s Grand Prix de Trois-Riviéres and included Quebec natives and former Formula One winner the late Gilles Villeneuve and his brother, Jacques Villeneuve, a CART Series winner at Road America in 1985 and multiple-time world snowmobile titlist.
The 10-member team, which was chosen by a panel of auto- racing journalists and photographers earlier this year, also included seven-time winner and 2003 Atlantics champion A.J. Allmendinger and Patrick Carpentier, both of whom are currently competing in NASCAR Sprint Cup.
In addition to those names, the list also included 13-time winner Claude Bourbonnais; two-time champion Bill Brack; 15-time winner Mark Dismore, two-time champions David Empringham and Jon Fogarty and eight-time winner Jimmy Vasser.
