Casey, James And Pearson Visit Victory Lane As Lucas Late Models Tour South

SWAINSBORO, Ga. — Wisconsin late-model driver Terry Casey is on a hot streak.
Casey earned his second-straight Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series triumph Thursday night at Swainsboro Raceway. It was his third victory of the season.
Casey was fast qualifier, with a 14.577-second lap of the three-tenths-mile oval. He also won the first heat and the 30-lap feature. He started his Rayburn third and took the lead from Dan Schlieper on lap seven and worked through lapped traffic.
Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. finished third, with Dennis Franklin and Earl Pearson, Jr., who started 15th, rounding out the top five.

SYLVANIA, Ga. — Scott James took the lead from Tim Dohm on lap 21 and held off Jimmy Owens to win the 50-lap event for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Friday night at Screven Motor Speedway.
James used a unique line around the track in his Baylor Trucking/Powell Motorsports Rocket/Dickens by running high through turns one, two and three, and then driving off the bottom of turn four to cover the inside where Owens was the strongest.
Owens had to settle for second and Dohm took third. Randy Weaver was fourth, with Donnie Moran fifth.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — Earl Pearson, Jr. started ninth and led just one lap en route to claiming the $10,000 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory Sunday evening at Golden Isles Speedway.
Scott Bloomquist led 49 laps of 50, only to finish second after Pearson blasted past on the final lap. Steve Casebolt finished third, with Jason Fitzgerald and Bart Hartman rounding out the top five.
Pearson is a three-time series champion.
