VIVIAN, La. — For the second-consecutive week, Lee Davis was involved in a photo finish in O'Reilly Southern United Professional Racing action.
This time, however, Davis would have to settle for runner-up honors as Rob Litton nipped Davis at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway finish line Saturday to score his second SUPR feature victory of the 2008 season.
The pole-sitting Litton collected $2,500 for his 14th career series victory.
The duo of Litton and Davis put on a spirited battle throughout the 50-lap feature, running side by side and swapping the lead with each passing lap. While Litton and Davis were battling up front, Kenny Merchant, Ray Moore, Ronny Adams and Howard Willis had their own battles raging for the third position as they closed in on the leaders. Merchant took third ahead of Moore and Willis.
