O'Neal Puts Career In Toilet

Tuckassee Toilet Bowl Classic, StormPay.com Speedway, Martinsville, Ind.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.— Don O’Neal earned a seat on the throne at StormPay.com Speedway. And taking a seat on the unique trophy at the fourth annual Tuckassee Toilet Bowl Classic paid the Martinsville, Ind., driver $10,000 as he led all 50 laps from his pole position.
Only a brief bout with lapped traffic early in the race caused problems for O’Neal as he routinely pulled away to straightaway leads in a UMP-sanctioned race slowed by four cautions.
O’Neal, a winner in the East Bay Raceway Park Winternationals opener at Florida Speedweeks, notched his second victory of the season in his Harrod Farms-owned Rayburn race car.
Wes Steidinger started outside the front row, but couldn’t keep up with O’Neal. Steidinger finished second, with Dennis Erb, Jr., Terry English and Justin Rattliff rounding out the top five.
The finish:
Don O’Neal, Wes Steidinger, Dennis Erb, Jr., Terry English, Justin Rattliff, Wayne Chin, Steven Ashby, Ryan Unzicker, Jeff Walston, Brian Ashby, Tim Tungate, Brent Kreke, Jason McBride, Rusty Griffaw, B.J. McGammon, Caleb Ashby, Wendell Wallace, Darren Baxter, Jordan Bland, Mike Hammerle.
