NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Justin Rattliff earned the $3,000 top prize as the O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series opened its dirt-late-model season Friday night at Twin Cities Raceway Park.
Don O’Neal led from the pole and paced the first 37 circuits of the quarter-mile oval, but Rattliff moved around O’Neal on lap 38 and raced away for his second-career victory in the series.
O’Neal took runner-up honors, followed by Steve Barnett, Kevin Claycomb and defending series champion Victor Lee, who was the fast qualifier for the 35-car field.
