Tim Karrick blasted past Terry Phillips with two laps to go to become the first repeat winner of the Jayhawk Modified Classic Saturday at Lakeside Speedway.
On lap 28, Karrick pulled past Phillips and romped to the $5,000 top prize.
Phillips came across the stripe second but was disqualified in post-race inspection. John Allen inherited second, followed by Mark Dotson, Jeremy Payne and Jim Moody.
