Aug. 11

BELLEVILLE, Kan. — John Allen proved that experience at the Belleville High Banks pays dividends as the 39-year-old scored a wire-to-wire victory in the Aug. 11 O’Reilly USMTS National Tour event.
The victory was the first on the tour for Allen since March.
Jon Tesch, who won the Hunt opener two days prior, finished second ahead of Jason Krohn, Al Hejna and Ron Ver Beek.

Aug. 12

OSBORN, Mo. — Tim Donlinger took the lead on the eighth lap of the Aug. 12 O’Reilly USMTS National Tour $2,000-to-win feature at U.S. 36 Raceway.
Tommy Weder, Jr. finished second ahead of Kelly Shryock. Zack VanderBeek and John Allen rounded out the top five.
The race was the third in the series’ Hunt for the O’Reilly USMTS National Championship, and the runner-up finish was good enough to return Shryock to the top of the standings, five points ahead of VanderBeek.

Thursday

OWATONNA, Minn. — After a lengthy rain delay Thursday night at Steele County Speedway, Tommy Weder, Jr. worked overtime to capture his third O’Reilly USMTS National Tour victory in his last six starts.
After starting from the pole, Weder had to reclaim the point from Tim Donlinger, who passed Weder for the lead on lap 12. Weder fought back with three laps to go and held on for the $2,000 victory.
Donlinger settled for second ahead of John Allen in third. Ron Ver Beek was fourth and Jon Tesch fifth.

FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. — The fifth event in the Casey's General Stores Hunt for the O’Reilly USMTS National Championship produced the fifth different winner Friday night as Al Hejna triumphed at Tri-Oval Speedway.
Polesitter Jake Neal led the first circuit and Dean Mahlstedt led the next four laps. But when Mahlstedt turned pitside, Hejna inherited the lead and led the final 25 laps.
Tim Donlinger, who scored his second straight runner-up paycheck, was second, with Corey Dripps, Neal and Alan Mondus filling the top five.

Saturday

DECORAH, Iowa — Zack VanderBeek notched his fourth O’Reilly USMTS National Tour victory of the season Saturday night at Upper Iowa Speedway.
VanderBeek out-dueled Kelly Shryock in a caution-free 40-lap event that saw all 22 starters finish the feature race on the tricky quarter-mile oval.
VanderBeek took the lead from Shryock on lap 12 and led to the checkered flag. Shryock hung on for second. Jon Tesch came from 10th to finish third. Al Hejna and Donlinger rounded out the top five.
