Donlinger Ends Six-Year Drought
Earns Pair Of Extended Weekend Victories

ALLISON, Iowa — Tim Donlinger picked up his first O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series victory in more than six years at Highway 3 Raceway.
Donlinger, one of the initial drivers in the series back in 1999, started on the pole and fought off the challenges of eight-time series champion Kelly Shryock for his first victory since July 21, 2001.
Shryock finished second, ahead of Jason Krohn.

LANSING, Minn. — Nobody could out-draw Tommy Myer and nobody could out-race him either as Myer took a wire-to-wire victory Friday night as the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series invaded the Chateau Raceway.
Myer rocketed straight to the lead, and despite a lot of pressure and side by side racing throughout the main event, led every lap en route to his second O’Reilly USMTS victory of the season.
Tim Donlinger edged Kelly Shryock for second, with Greg Skaggs and Zack VanderBeek filling the top five.

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. — Two days after snapping a six-year winless streak, Tim Donlinger posted his second O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series victory of the year, winning the 3rd Annual Labor Day Duel on Saturday night at Deer Creek Speedway.
With 14 laps to go, Donlinger finally slipped past Bob Timm and closed in on leader Kelly Shryock, diving to the inside to take the race lead one lap later.
Brad Waits took third as Timm fell to fourth followed by Todd Scharkey.

KASSON, Minn. — Kelly Shryock did all he could do Sunday night at Kasson Speedway to help his cause as he seeks an unprecedented ninth O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series national title.
From the pole, Shryock led every orbit of the 40-lap event to capture the $2,000 top prize and get within striking distance of point-leader Jason Krohn in The Hunt for the O’Reilly USMTS National Championship.
Corey Dripps came home second, with point-leader Jason Krohn, who holds a 19-point edge over Shryock with three races remaining, third.
