Rain Stops Outlaws In Wyoming

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series debut at Gillette Thunder Speedway Thursday night was interrupted by rain on the first lap of the scheduled 35-lap event.
The night began with Daryn Pittman setting a new track record in time trials, circling the third-mile in 11.524 seconds. Kraig Kinser, Paul McMahan and Steve Kinser all won heat races, while McMahan was victorious in the Crane Cams Dash.
World of Outlaws officials along with Gillette Speedway officials are currently discussing options to complete the program.
