MINERSVILLE, Pa. — An ARDC victory was three years in the making for Eric Heydenreich.
Shortly after sweeping into victory lane at Big Diamond Raceway Friday night, he summed up just what it meant to him. “If I never win another race, that’ll be fine,” Heydenreich said. “I won an ARDC Midget race.”
The cousin of ARDC legend Johnny Heydenreich, Eric Heydenrich had been close to victory many times, but finally made that final step, holding off Tracy Reidinger for the triumph.
Bruce Buckwalter, Jr., Frank Polimeda and Greg Robinson II rounded out the top five.

NEWBERRYTOWN, Pa. — Andy Martin has been the model of consistency all year long in ARDC Midget competition. Sunday night at Susquehanna Speedway Park, he was simply overpowering as he drove from the 14th-starting spot to blow away the field.
P.J. Gargiulo overcame pre-race engine problems to finish second, followed by Ed Stimely, Jr. in third for his best finish of the season.
Tracy Readinger and Greg Robinson finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
