Kuhn, Quin Among Honorees

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — Driver Brad Kuhn and car owner Michael Quin headlined the list of honorees at the annual Badger Midget Auto Racing Association awards banquet on Saturday night, capping the 71st anniversary season for the series.
Kuhn’s back-to-back titles mark the 11th time in series history the feat has occurred. Kuhn’s season was highlighted by six feature victories and 15 top five finishes in the 23-race season, which was his first season driving for Quin. The New Zealand car owner won his first title, becoming the organization’s first foreign-born champion.
Robbie Ray took home the 2007 Rookie of the Year title, while Joe Wipperfurth won the Most Improved Driver award. Kurt Gunderson was honored as the Mechanic of the Year.
