PETALUMA, Calif. — Fast-qualifier Brian Gard romped from 13th to win the  Bay Cities Racing Ass’n midget feature Saturday night at Petaluma Speedway.
Heavily pressuring Scott Pierovich, Gard made contact with Pierovich entering turn three on the 25th circuit, sending Pierovich flipping.
With time tight, the checkered flag waved, and Gard inherited the victory. John Sarale earned his fourth runner-up finish of the season, with Ralph Cortez, Cole Peard and Justin Grant rounding out the top five.
