WATERFORD, Conn. — Coming from the fourth-starting position, Greg Stoehr had the lead halfway down the front straightaway and went on to score a 25-lap Northeastern Midget Ass’n victory Saturday night at Waterford Speedbowl.
Stoehr built a large lead over the first 15 laps, but the race’s second and final caution closed the field with Erica Santos behind Stoehr, but Stoehr was able to beat Santos to the finish line by .8 second.
Nokie Fornoro finished third. Adam Cantor was fourth and Joey Payne, Jr. took fifth.
