ROCHESTER, Wash. — At the drop of the green flag, Tony Seidelman in the Manners Hawk-Gaerte took the lead never to be headed in Saturday’s Washington Midgets Racing Ass’n at South Sound Speedway.
Brea Lopez, who was involved in an opening-lap tangle with Spence Gatrell, survived to finish second, but she was never able to mount a serious challenge for Seidelman. Evan Margeson was right behind in third.
While the first three positions were hotly contested all evening, the battle for the next three spots was bumper-to-bumper throughout the race with Mark Atkinson taking fourth followed by Darren Linder in fifth.
