Schrader To Field Two-Car East Series Team

Camping World East Series

CONCORD, N.C. — Ken Schrader Racing is gearing up for the 2008 Camping World East Series by expanding its operation to a two-car team. This season, both Jamie Hayes and Ricky Carmichael will drive Ken Schrader Racing entries at every stop on the circuit.
Jamie Hayes will be returning to the Ken Schrader Racing No. 52 Chevrolet after an  eighth-place finish in the final 2007 standings, recording a top-five and five top-10 finishes along the way.
Carmichael, who won 10-straight AMA motocross titles, enters his first year with the team. He will be carrying the Monster Energy Drink colors on his Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the full season with support from Fox Racing, Oakley and Suzuki.
“I have been fortunate to have great sponsors during my career and they continue to help make my next step in motorsports successful,” Carmichael said.
The NASCAR Camping World East Series season opener is set for April 19 at Greenville-Pickens (S.C.) Speedway.
