Ride With Kyle?

Kyle Petty's Victory motorcycle and a spot in next year's Ride Across America is up for bid on ebay.

IRVINE, Calif. — A special ebay auction is being held to raise funds for Childhelp and the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

During last year’s SEMA Installation Banquet, SEMA held a series of activities to raise funds for two worthy charities: Childhelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp. More than $175,000 was donated to the two groups, and thousands of children were able to enjoy a better life than they would have otherwise.

This year, SEMA is taking that fundraiser one step further with an online auction, which includes Kyle Petty's 2006 Victory motorcycle, which he rode in the 2007 Ride Across American Charity Ride. The motorcycle, which is worth more than $15,000, is a black Jackpot model that includes a custom-luggage rack built by Petty. In addition to the motorcycle, the winning bidder will receive one core rider on the 15th-anniversary Chic-Fil-A Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across American in 2009, valued at more than $13,000.

It includes:

•         Nine nights hotel accommodations
•         Fuel for one motorcycle at all scheduled pit stops
•         All scheduled group meals
•         Commemorative designer leather jacket
•         Event t-shirt and cap
•         All company-sponsored t-shirts
•         Transportation of one (1) motorcycle from N.C. to designated 2009 headquarters of the Charity Ride

Bidding will go through July 25, the date of this year's SEMA banquet in Irvine, Calif.
