Logano Struts Stuff In Front Of Cup Crowd

LOUDON, N.H. — Teenage rookie sensation Joey Logano won his fifth NASCAR Busch East Series race of the season Friday afternoon at New Hampshire International Speedway.
Logano, 17, took the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Driven Chevrolet to his second-consecutive victory at the 1.058-mile superspeedway, leading the most laps in the Aubuchon Hardware 125 presented by Hardwarestore.com, which featured 10 lead changes among six drivers.
Logano took the lead for good with 10 laps to go from Mark McFarland (No. 81 Knights Companies Chevrolet). The two swapped the lead six times starting on lap 45 of the 125-lap race.  Inside the final five laps, McFarland scraped the wall while battling with Sean Caisse (No. 44 Casella Waste Systems Chevrolet) and fell from contention.
Logano then held of Caisse for the win. Pole-sitter Rogelio Lopez finished third followed by Peyton Sellers and Jamie Hayes.
Jerry Marquis finished sixth followed by Brad Leighton, Ryan Moore, James Buescher, and Eddie MacDonald.
The series now heads to Dover (Del.) International Speedway for the season-ending Sunoco 150 Friday, Sept. 21 at 4:45 pm.
