FORT WORTH, Texas — Carl Renezeder took home another win in Pro 2 Division while Johnny Graves secured a victory in the Pro 4 Division as the Championship Off Road Racing Series visited Texas Motor Speedway in the penultimate event of the 2007 CORR season.
Renezeder beat out Pro 2 Division points leader Jerry Whelchel to pick up his third victory of the season. Whelchel passed Rob MacCachren on lap four and held off Renezeder for the next four laps before Renezeder slid by to take the top spot.
Once out in front, Renezeder moved out to an insurmountable lead, taking the checkered flag over Whelchel, who now holds a 16-point lead over Renezeder going into the final event of the season.
Greaves led every lap from the pole position to pick up his third checkered flag in the Pro 4 Division. Travis Coyne tried to pull off a pass for the lead on lap 10, but spun and was collected by Renezeder. Greaves was never challenged again as he cruised to the victory over Coyne and Renezeder.
Robert Naughton topped the Pro Lite feature over Kyle LeDuc and Jeff Huseman.
