Wall Holds Off Florian For Arena USA Victory In Hampton Roads

HAMPTON, Va. — Travis Wall led the way all night and held off Adam Florian in the closing laps to take the checkered flag in the 50-lap-Top Dog feature during the finale of Arena Racing USA’s Hampton Roads series.
Florian put on quite a charge but fell one car length short at the finish, with Larry Murphy, Sparky West and Brittany Bangas rounding out the top five.
Earlier in the night, Murphy was teh winner in the 50-lap A-main.

Citrus County Speedway

INVERNESS, Fla. — Citrus County Speedway hosted its second race weekend of the season with Tim Quick topping the headlining street-stock feature.
Quick shared the front row with polesitter Rick Shahid, who took the early lead. But it was only a few laps before Quick took control. Larry Welter, Jr. charged from eighth to a runner-up finish. Tim Alexander, Todd Downs and Jason Murphree filled the top five.
After finishing second on opening weekend, Clint Foley bounced back to win the mini- stock feature, with Todd Haught second.
Other victors of the night were Bill Ryan, marking his second straight win in the pure- stock division.
Dustin Swearingen topped the thunder-stock division.

Cowtown Speedway

FORT WORTH, Texas — Paul White claimed the modified win at Cowtown Speedway Saturday.
George White, Jason Teague, Glenn Hibbard and Nicholas Littlejohn were the top five.
In the mini-sprint division, it was Rylie Adair taking the checkered flag over Scott Sawyer.
Bobby Ruffin won the limited modified event.
