John Lizotte found his way to victory lane in the June 28 sport-truck feature at Oxford Plains (Maine) Speedway. It was his first feature victory in an on-and-off 10-year racing career…Steve Paine notched his 80th-career big-block modified victory on June 28 at Canandaigua (N.Y.) Speedway. It was also his first victory of the season…Jeff Rohrbaugh completed a June sweep of the 358 sprint-car division at Trail-Way Speedway in Hanover, Pa., collecting his fourth-straight victory on June 27…After three years of trying, Ryan Bohlke visited victory lane for the first time at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., winning the sprint-car feature on June 27…Track photographer Mike Dehoogh traded his camera for a helmet and won the extreme bomber race on June 28 at Marysville (Calif.) Raceway Park. It was Dehoogh’s first-career start in any type of race car…Lakeside Speedway regular Mark Schafman ended a winless drought in the track’s modified division…Len Krautheim picked up the first 358 sprint-car victory of his career at Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway June 28, but no one had to show him to victory lane. He owns 11-career 410 victories at the track to go along with the 1992 track championship…Josh Nichols got his first-career victory in the modified division at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C., and then passed technical inspection. What’s the big deal? A week earlier, eight of 10 cars failed the post-race inspection for having illegal tread widths…Anthony Madrid had won 10 championships in five different divisions at Arizona’s Manzanita Speedway, and he added to that résumé with a victory in the first late-model race of his career on June 28...Shady Bowl Speedway regular Larry Adams reached victory lane after several years of trying at the DeGraff, Ohio track, winning the June 28 sport-stock feature.
